Nicholas Mineo is a highly accomplished attorney with more than 13 years of experience in litigation, risk management, corporate governance and compliance. He has led strategic initiatives focused on risk assessments, due diligence, anti-bribery/ anti-corruption, crisis management, internal investigations and conflict resolution with a focus on operationalizing process improvements. He has assisted in the development and implementation of a world-class compliance program for a global organization and has experience in handling multi-jurisdictional government investigations through resolution, including deferred prosecution agreements and independent monitorships. Mineo is a certified (CCB) ethics and compliance professional (CCEP).
Previously, Mineo was a trial attorney focused on complex litigation and the civil defense of organizations and individuals in state and federal courts. He also advised corporate clients on best practices and procedures.
Mineo is a 2004 Albany Law School at Union University graduate and is a guest lecturer of compliance at the University at Buffalo School of Law. He has also authored several articles on the benefits of compliance programs and spoke at related industry events. He is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York.
